#Momazing is that magical moment when your child surprises you with a milestone that they achieve for the first time - you feel a powerful mix of emotions: pride at their flourishing development and reassurance that you are doing great job as a mom.
I was intrigued by this new word, #Momazing, when asked to write about my momazing moment few months back. My first thought was it must be something related to mom and amazing. And yes, I'm right! However, the "firsts" moments are simply beyond amazing and I'm glad that Scott's came up with this new word.
In fact, it didn't take long for me to relate to the true meaning behind this beautiful word. In my first article, I shared about Emma's first independent steps before her first birthday as my momazing moment and how my heart fills with great joy, thanksgiving and awe each time Emma level up.
As the #Momazing campaign progressed, I was presented with the most meaningful opportunity to interview mommies and write articles about more #momazing moment. I jumped at it without second thought for I feel deeply for this magical moment.
It's truly an eye-opening and mind blowing experience for a new mommy like me. During the interviews, my heart almost exploded from hearing all the moments the 6 other mummies have shared. Many times I stopped writing only to find my eyes welled up with tears. The moments are so real and touching. I believe that's the feeling that keep us mommies going on even though things aren't always all hugs and kisses. It's a blessing to be a mother.
